UTI Banking & PSU Debt Fund is an open ended income scheme with emphasis on low risk, high quality debt and liquidity.
The scheme seeks to generate steady and reasonable income by investing predominantly in high quality debt and money market
instruments that are issued by banks and public sector undertakings .
The following are the Key Portfolio Characteristics of the scheme:
§ The scheme will invest at least 80% in debt and money market instruments of Banks and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
§ Emphasis on high quality debt and liquidity of underlying securities
§ Primarily invest in securities rated AAA/ A1+
§ To Actively Manage Portfolio with relative lower risk and volatility
§ Capitalize on the spreads available at the shorter end of the yield curve
§ Portfolio duration is likely to be maintained between 12 to 18 months
